Our Programs

Learn to Skate

Learn to Skate Classes are offered through our home rink, the Arctic Coliseum, and taught by our Chelsea Figure Skating Club Coaches. For more information, please visit the Arctic Coliseum. Our classes are designed to keep skaters enthusiastic about learning the fundamentals of figure skating from the time they begin lessons until the time they reach their goals. We offer a fun and safe skating experience for the beginner skater, teaching the fundamentals of skating with correct technique while developing coordination and balance.

Singles/Freestyle Skating

We offer a program structure encompassing the needs of both recreational and competitive skaters. Whether the goal is to win regionals or to pass your pre-preliminary moves in the field test, we have coaches who will work hard to help you reach your goals! In the last few years, we have had skaters test through their senior moves in the field test, as well as compete at the EGL Regional Championships, the Michigan High School States Championships, and National Showcase competitions. For more information, contact our skating director, Megan Salamon, or to get started in private lessons contact any of our coaches today!

National Showcase Team

This team will look to combine the technical skills of skating with theatrical performance. It is all about the art of performing and putting together a cohesive and unique team that will set them apart from the rest! The club has sent teams and individual skaters to compete at the National Showcase Championships for the past several years with great success. For more information, please contact Megan Salamon.

Washtenaw Edge High School Team

High School skaters from Chelsea, Dexter, and Manchester join together as one in the Washtenaw Edge High School Team.
